Line Cook

Eolus Bar & Dining is looking for experienced line cooks to join our team. Ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of fine dining, sautee/grill experience.

We are a fast paced, locally owned and operated restaurant, located in the heart of Durango.  We offer highly competitive pay and the opportunity to learn and grow in a restaurant with over a decade of culinary expertise.

Eolus features produce from a variety of local farms, we butcher our seafood and meat in house, and execute our dishes with skill and precision. 

We have a phenomenal team that operates in an exceptionally equipped, modern kitchen. We pride ourselves on professionalism within a culinary space that encourages people to learn and thrive in a positive environment.

Sous Chef

Eolus Bar & Dining is currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years Sous Chef experience to join our leadership team and continue to grow with us.
Good salary pay for an experienced chef that includes benefits including a ski pass.
We work in a well equipped, modern kitchen with a great team and are just looking to build upon what we have already started.

Eolus is a fast paced, fine dining, dinner service only restaurant, locally owned and operated in quaint, downtown Durango, CO.
We are committed to supporting local farmers by using their products to showcase the best of what our area has to offer and enhance the overall dinning experience.

Daily Sous Chef duties include: butchering, sauce making, prep, cooking on the line & purchasing. Other duties would include leading the kitchen on the chef's days off, assisting the chef with creation of daily features as well as other menu items.

Some resume requirements are:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a full service restaurant
• Thorough knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Understanding of food and labor cost
• Leadership skills to achieve goals while maintaining a high expectation of standards for quality and presentation
• Ability to build/sustain a team spirit and high morale
• Instilling strong safety and sanitation habits in all associates
